Stole for Ordinary Time
This stole was given to our pastor this summer in honor of her 5th anniversary at our church. The stole was a gift from our church choir and was designed and made by me. The green of ordinary time represented growth and life, so I scanned some real leaves and printed them onto fabric, which was then cut out and appliqued onto the stole. The blue triangles represent the Trinity. Blogger won't cooperate and upload the full length view.

Lovely Lois. Love the color.it came out well.
ReplyDeleteThat's so pretty. Very well thought out.:)
ReplyDeleteI've gotten some questions about the pattern for the stole itself. It was given to me by a friend. It is shaped around the neckline. I've also seen straight stoles which come together in a V behind the neck.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...It's looking like 3D Arts on stole.
