Stole for Ordinary Time
This stole was given to our pastor this summer in honor of her 5th anniversary at our church. The stole was a gift from our church choir and was designed and made by me. The green of ordinary time represented growth and life, so I scanned some real leaves and printed them onto fabric, which was then cut out and appliqued onto the stole. The blue triangles represent the Trinity. Blogger won't cooperate and upload the full length view.

As valuable as gold.
I did a little thread shopping yesterday for a free motion embroidery project that I’m intending to do. I needed some rayon thread in several shades of purple, as well as some heavier threads in variegated tans and greens. Wow. That little tiny bag of thread cost a fortune. But you never can have too much thread, right? Maybe too much fabric stash, but not too much thread.
